Installing Multipurpose Startupz WordPress Theme

This guide will walk you through the steps to install the Startupz | Multupurpose Tech WordPress Theme purchased from ThemeForest.

Step 1: Download the Theme​

  1. Go to ThemeForest.
  2. Download the Startupz | Multupurpose Tech WordPress Theme zip file from your account.

Step 2: Extract the ZIP Folder​

  1. Once downloaded, extract the contents of the ZIP file.
  2. Inside the extracted folder, you will find three subfolders:
    • Documentation (HTML file) - You can open this for the installation procedure.
    • Theme files.
    • Plugins files.

Step 3: Prepare WordPress Application​

  1. Open your WordPress application.
  2. Make sure your WordPress installation is fresh with no existing data.

Step 4: Install the Theme​

  1. In your WordPress dashboard, go to Appearance > Themes.
  2. Click Add New > Upload Theme.
  3. Click Choose File, select the startupz.zip file from the extracted theme folder, and click the Install Now button. Screenshot 1 Screenshot 2
  4. After the upload completes, click the Activate button.

Step 5: Install Required Plugins​

  1. Navigate to the top of the WordPress dashboard.
  2. Click Begin Installing Plugins.
  3. Ensure all required plugins are installed one by one.
  4. After each plugin installation, activate them one by one to ensure safe activation. Screenshot 3 Screenshot 4

Note: If any plugin takes you to a separate page for activation, go back to Appearance > Install Plugins and activate the remaining plugins.

Step 6: Import Demo Data​

  1. After all required plugins are activated, go to Appearance > Import Demo Data. Screenshot 6 Screenshot 7

Step 7: Import Demo Data​

  1. Click the Continue & Import button to start the demo data import. Screenshot 8

Step 8: Demo Import Complete​

  1. The One Click Demo Import will successfully import demo data, and you will see the same demo content as in the Startupz Theme Preview. Screenshot 9 Screenshot 10

Step 9: Set the Homepage​

  1. Go to Settings > Reading.
  2. Select A Static Page and choose your desired homepage from the dropdown menu. Screenshot 11

Now your Multipurpose Startupz WordPress theme is successfully installed and set up with demo content!
